Ok,

Is there a Bluetooth phone module fuse? Take car of wife - get in the car and well no Bluetooth - phone now cant see the D4 Bluetooth .... "when did that happen" Wife = "do not know - stopped a little while ago" , ow brilliant.. thanks t heads up.

Anyway - D4 2011 HSE - Bluetooth not discover-able. Simple fix? fuse? or module now stuffed?

ok - any suggestions here?

I have disconnected battery and re set. still no blue tooth ... I think its blue tooth all in the head unit? or separate?

2010-2011MY there is a separate phone module, in the boot, right hand side behind the plastic trim panel.

2012MY onward the bluetooth is incorporated into the head unit.

I wonder if its fused? - cant seem to find anything on line about it.

There's no specific fuse for the bluetooth module, and with the fibre optics if the module was not powered, then the whole audio system would be offline.

It can happen that the module develops a fault, so it's not working, but is still functional enough to keep passing on the fibre optic signal that everything else keeps working.

D3 fuse pull and plug reset my Bluetooth module until it needed a replacement. I put a second hand unit in and it worked. If your battery disconnect hard reset failed I suspect you might need a new one as well. I think my replacement is out of a D4 as a matter of interest.

I would double check your phone blue tooth setting are scanning as the hard reset may require a new connection.
