Folks,

can i order a replacement oil fill cap for a Defender TDCi here in Australia? Or do they have to come from UK?

What other oil fill cap would fit a Puma engine? I've tried a Ranger and for some reason that didn't (Maybe wasn't the 2.2). What about a cap from a

Mondeo 2.2? Is that the same Ford engine? Any suggestions?

Hi Alan

Here is the part number...

LR004269 - Cap - Oil Filler - Find Land Rover parts at LR Workshop (https://www.lrworkshop.com/parts/LR004269)

There will be plenty of suppliers locally. British Motor Importers in Mulgrave will have them or second hand from Triumph Rover in Adelaide for a start.

Cheers - Simon

Hi Simon!

many thanks for that tip. My new (used) filler cap is on the way up north from Triumph at Adelaide.

Ten bucks!
