MY2010 DRL

Hi all, We've just added a MY10 TDV6 luxury to the fray (alongside our D3). I'm sure this has been done to death, but does anyone have any recent experience with fitting DRLs to these vehicles? The kits from the UK are unavailable, and I believe there's no plan to see any new ones in stock. We're keen to put DRL's on it, as it's road coloured (grey) and I'm not really keen on wasting the HID lamps on daylight running.
Any help much appreciated :)

I was a bit disappointed with the Osrams anyway. They were distractingly bright with the cornering function and the voltage sensitive activation played up all the time, making them flash when the car was off.

I think the foglight replacements are still a good option but it's ok to keep it simple. Installation wasn't too bad, just a few screws etc really to pull the front bumper off.
