Can anyone recommend a 6 plug model?

Harvey Norman have one for $275.
They tried to upsell me on virtually everything recently when I went to investigate a new computer.
To me it would have to be VERY good to cost that.
I recently lost my modem and laptop to a power surge through NBN not power from a near lightning strike. It must have been induction as the actual NBN line was OK afterwards. Most of the 6 power boards also have a telephone surge protector but IMHO it is a pretty rare event.
Also if you have a laptop I would think the transformer would protect the power board in the laptop.

We have an 8-outlet one that includes a phone line surge arrestor. A lightning strike that blew a section of underground cable 300m from the house killed the phone line section but saved the phone system which we had previously replaced a few times.
