Hi I have a low K's 2014 HSE and am due for a 72 Month (6yr) service. There is no extra work needed. I wondered if anyone could give me a ball park figure for the cost of a main dealer service and same service carried out by an indie. I am located in Perth.

Many thank in advance.

Can't help with the dealer side, but you would get a very fair price from Indie DazzaTD5 on here (AZTEC 4X4 in Rivervale). In my view, none fairer or genuine.

Is it wrong that I also recommend me? [tonguewink]

As per my work Facebook page, service cost on a Discovery 4.
$480.00 - Service includes oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter.
$440.00 - AULRO members

or 440 toilet rolls??

Forget the dealer price,it will be way north of any good indie.

My Indie is generally half the price of the stealer, and twice as good.

I don't think I have got out of a service for less than $650.

Thanks for replying Dazza, I will be in contact. I have been quoted quite a bit more than that

Be careful the 440 rolls could be more then a dealer would charge for a rear belt change at the moment. Id pay the cash.

But with the amount of help he puts out for free on this site for anyone and everyone. He really is worth the rolls!

Dealer service receipts for our first reg 2015 D4 SC V6 say cost of services were 1000 dollars for the first couple then 1500 for the last one at @ 90k b 4 we bought it 6 months ago.

No detail on what was done but presumably they followed the book. Guess the prev owner was locked into a warranty scam.. I mean scheme.
