Yeah, sure can. I have 840W on top of the van and 300Ah LifeP04 with victron 3kW inverter, I can run my Ibis 3 A/C but the battery SOC does go backwards over the day. I tried it out last year, down near Robe in SA, no real shade available so in the full sun. While the compressor was running the battery was contributing about 60A I think, and when the compressor cut out and just the a/C fan was running it was about 50A into the battery, but it's a while ago so not really sure on the numbers.
