Are the Headlights on a TDV8 Luxury all the same - or were there different types / Options available?

I believe that AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting - lights move with the steering wheel for corners etc.) was an option ! Most people who have it, think highly of it.

Do non-AFS lights have working cornering lights? I find the cornering lights useful but my previous D4 with non-AFS bi-xenons didn't have them.

Thanks

I can't seem to log into Topix. Would somebody else mind looking and telling me what headlights my car came with? The VIN is:

According to Topix you have :

ADAPTIVE-XENON HEADLAMPS

and

CONTINUOUS VARIABLE DAMPING

So that's a good win !

If you send me a PM I can email you the complete readout.

Topix? What is topix?

Adaptive headlights are great at low speed, especially when scanning the paddock for a fox or looking around.
Cheers

It's Vehicle specific data base which records servicing, recalls, build sheet etc

Database is based on your VIN:

Apparently 2010+ cars can have the cornering lights, if not fitted with AFS, BUT they can be enabled/disabled via CCF. I don't know if they were a standard Australian Spec or not [bighmmm]

The D4 non-AFS lights didn't have the globe holders nor the wiring + connector inside the assembly.

I unwittingly changed the speed at which my L322's cornering lights are switched on from 40 kph to 60 kph using my Faultmate, thinking I was increasing the steering angle before they switch on. However I'm not game to set the speed back because my IIDtool doesn't have the facility and I've changed a lot of CCF values using the IIDtool which may be lost if the Faultmate is used to change anything.

Also where are the part numbers on the headlights. There are numbers on top of my headlights but none look like part numbers?

Thanks for the report Laurie...

Curious what Special value pack E is...?

Don't quote me but it think it was standard on both 2010 Autobiography models, and a option on the others same as the Dual View screen. CVD was standard on all the 4.4 TdV8 models. The 2010 headlights had a grey interior colour, the latter models had black interior. LR13008A ???
I have not been able to find out what Special value pack E is ? Been trying for a couple of years, know one seems to know ![bighmmm]
