will the SDV6 engine out of a L494 (2013 onwards) fit in a 2012 (L320) RRS?

has anyone experienced or know if a later model SDV6 engine from a L494 will fit into a L320 RRS?

I'm pretty sure the basic engine is the same, just different settings etc. The big problem could be electronics especially if the later model had DPF fitted, accessory layout, bell housing 6 speed V's 8 speed gearbox and ECU (check part numbers )
