Looks like it was going really fast during the landing. Difficult to see whether they had a flap/slat problem. When landing without flaps in a jet it's very easy to do what you see there, but airmanship would normally require a go-around after the first bounce...

I haven't seen it in the flight part of the forum. You're assuming every one watched the news you did. And you know what happens when we assume EDIT. I was hoping for some discussion from people who know about these things, unlike you and Eevo.

One report said it had a lightning strike. Not sure how that would affect the flight controls.

Isn't that the Sukhoi jet that crashed in 2019 as Eevo posted ? a year ago, its just new footage of the crash from a year ago. The Sukhoi jet is a bit of a failure as russia tries to compete with Boeing... and Airbus ...one went down in indonesia from memory as well?Not sure how through the investigation was espically as it was a Russian made jet with all that political background....... might look on russian net later.

Newly released footage of the crash. Some are saying the fire engines took too long to arrive and did not do enough when they did arrive. Not an expert but seems the damage was done long before they arrived
