Does anyone happen to know what the starter battery is? Is it AGM or something else? I have to charge it as the car has not moved in some time and I was wondering what to set the charger to...

I don't believe's its an AGM - when I tried charging the battery with my CTEK charger the AGM programs never seem to work - only the "normal battery" charging programs. Also for some reason the CTEK struggles to charge in recondition mode from a completely dead battery - go figure.

Hmmm... Says AGM on mine. Have you actually checked the label on yours?

BrentA 'completely dead' battery can take some time on a charger to actually start charging.

A completely flat battery may need another battery connected in parallel so that the charger knows that the leads have been connected with the correct polarity. The extra battery can be disconnected as soon as the charger starts. I've had to do this with my charger (not CTEK) which senses polarity before starting to charge.

I bet it is an AGM.

Have a good look over it or google the model number.

For what it’s worth, my 2019 SD6 SE is fitted with an Exide GX73 90Ah 850CCA AGM battery. It appears to be the original battery with Land Rover/Exide label.
