Hey everyone new to this sight so I don’t know if this is the right area to post this. I’m wanting to fit a Isuzu box into my perentie. I’ve been reading a few of the posts on the subject and it seems Sheldon from Corconversions might be the guy to talk to. I have tried to ring and e- mail him without any success. Does anyone now how to get in contact?
If anyone else have some advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Mark

G'day Mark, It's a bit hit and miss with Sheldon. Sometimes you can contact him other times not. The biggest problem with fitting any other sort of gearbox other than an LT95 to a 6x6 is the rear axle output from the transfer case. The LT230 is not suitable for this. The only way would be to machine the transfer case off an LT95 and attach it to the Isuzu box with an adaptor or divorced arrangement. As far as I know nobody has done this yet although I have heard Sheldon was looking at it.

From what I’ve read recently, I believe Sheldon is no longer doing anything with the MSA adapters, but he is now working on an auto to Isuzu adapter. It would still be worth a direct call to confirm with him.

Not sure Brian I was wanting to talk to some people to get a bit of guidance. I was thinking of a later model box but that depends on how hard that is. I’m not in a big rush it’s a long term project for our retirement in five or so years.

That would be good thanks Damien. I was hoping to stick with a manual if I could.
