I couldnt see much this morning , I may have been too late , it was probably the false dawn when I went out , but too light.

I will have another go tomorrow morning. earlier.

Why cant the man in the shack organize these events at a better time of the year? To much light and drizzle and to bloody cold :BigCry:

I got up and immediately saw a small meteorite.

About 1/2hr later a really bright one arced across about 2/3 of the sky.

About 1/2hr later clouds arced across the whole sky and I went back to bed.

And at a more sociable time, six hours later would have been far more convenient.
I took a squiz at 02:00, nothing seen, back to bed.

I got up - clouds - so let the kids sleep. Got back to a warm bed with Mrs ND who shrieked just a bit and my cold bod[biggrin] Not really verbal Fire works just "Move Away or die.

I'm happy, clear but bright and still got to see a few.
I react like a kid when I see one, much like when I see fireflies [emoji16]
They were much higher in the sky than I read, directly overhead rather than in Aquarius, or below where Mars is atm.

And I need my Star Walk app to tell me those constellations
