Hi all.

I am in need of wiring diagrams for the D3 TDV6. Fuel injection in particular. My Disco has no injection pulse and I need to do some testing to get to the root cause.

If any one has had a similar problem I am all ears.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You probably need this: LR3 Manuals (https://aulro.net.au/emporium/index.php?rt=product/product&path=71_72&product_id=125)

Includes workshop manual and electrical info - also known as RAVE

You can buy the manuals from this forum. They're cheap I think 11 bucks. They have the schematics you need plus everything else.
If your on your computer they are in the shop section

Thanks guys.

I have purchased yet another manual form the forum shop.

The last few I have purchased online do not have any wiring for the TDV6. They only cover the petrol engines not the diesel.

See how I get on with the latest edition.

Cheers.

Garry.

I recently purchased the same and yes it seems to only include the wiring diagram for the US spec LHD LR3 petrol models.

The link I gave above says it covers the 2.7 litre diesel. Isn't that the V6?

The manual covers the TDV6 but the wiring diagram included is specifically the LHD version for the US market.

I presume most is common and no differences between LHD and RHD (could be a dangerous assumption), but there is no wiring diagram for the TDV6 engine electronics.

Well that is the problem - the LR3 was only sold in North America and only had the V8s and V6s not the TDV6s.

Maybe the D3 manuals need to be stocked [thumbsupbig].

In the manuals if it just says V6 it is preferring to the 4 litre petrol V6.

The Disco3.co.uk forum is a good source for wiring diagrams. Just have to sign up and search.

Interestingly the RHD diagrams also say LR3.

What I’m saying is that the CD description states 2.7 diesel. Is the table of contents wrong?

The workshop manual includes the 2.7 TDV6 - so is correct.

The wiring diagrams are in a seperate folder and does not cover the 2.7 TDV6.

Garry - this may help. The engine management for the RRS TDV6 should be the same.

Thanks for that. I have printed out the schematics and I will set about doing a little testing. Put my lab scope to work and make it earn it's keep.

Hopefully I find the problem quickly.

Cheers Garry.
