Hi Folks,
The cranking battery has finally died in my 02 110.
I thought before I rush out to get anything I should check with the knowledge base here for a good one to aim for here in Melbourne's eastern burbs.
My current one is a ACDelco Maintenance free, and came with the vehicle when I bought it in 2016.

Thanks
Louis

It's a bit like asking what oil to use, everyone will have their own ideas.

Personally I've stuck with Delcor, never had an issue and they last at least 5 years in the daily driver then pass to one of my old Land Rovers.

Any Power Batteries, 5/234 Frankston Dandenong Rd in Dandenong.

I've had very good service from Supercharge batteries. One lasted 10 1/2 years in my TD5 Defender Xtreme, & another one 6 years in a Magna till we traded it in.

Everyone has their preferences, of course.

Cheers,

Lionel

+1, just replaced my Defender Td5 with a Caterpillar 115-2422, 1000cca battery, I have had the same battery in my Td5 Disco for three years and its been great, the Td5 loves having the extra CCA when starting esp if an auto. A wet battery but good vibration resistance. A squeeze in the Deefers battery box if you have two batteries as its a little taller than standard.

Fullriver, cheaper than the others, better than the most of them.
Personal experience over 10 years. Had them in boats, and many landies.
Hint. Check out weight of batteries.

I have always used Lion Batteries in Frankston, they were formerly Trupak and have been in business since the days when they used to make batteries which is well before my time.
