Part of this is that they operate a business model where the places they fly to have to pay for the privilege and meet conditions to keep them. These have been unraveling of late as court cases have gone against them as the payments have been deemed as illegal state aid. Is now seeing competitors receiving state aid that breaches EU rules but knows no action will be taken
