Essential Spares - Defender TD5

G'day Guy's

Can someone advise me on what they consider to be essential spares on their TD5 vehicle when away.

I am aware of most ot to sure with the TD5

Depends what you mean by away. I have carried very little in spares so far but havn't been to far from civilisation. The two times I have needed anything we have just done running repairs. 1 was the main thermostate jammed up at ACE's so we used his workshop to drill the guts out. The other was also at ACE's when I bent the steering. Again we straitened it out as much as possible and once home ordered the replacement parts.
If your going way out you might wan't to carry filters, hoses, oil, brake fluid, water and fuses. There might be more thats all I can think of for now.
