Caution! Noob questions ahead!

Did anything structurally change to require the rim increase?

SD V8 models Power and weight are same-ish? 2014-2017?
so just better handling required at 10-10ths?,, or a fashion statement? or?

20-21" just a brake thing?

Philisophical answers OK! [smilebigeye]

Speaking of out there---
just how common are these sizes outside the Capitols?

Did anything structurally change to require the rim increase? I don't believe so

SD V8 models Power and weight are same-ish? 2014-2017? YES
so just better handling required at 10-10ths?,, or a fashion statement? or? I think it is fashion, if you look at the BMW X5s and other Euro competitors with performance variants they are running huge tyres.

20-21" just a brake thing? 20" is all that is required for the Brembo 6 piston calipers. 21" and 22" are for fashion and maybe lower sidewalls for less tyre movement when cornering. For some reason they have removed the Brembo branding from the calipers and replaced it with "Landrover". I think Brembo is better from a marketing stand point or even Range Rover.

The 4-pot brakes fitted to MY07-09 L322s and RRS were branded Brembo but according to an article some years ago LR changed to use Range Rover instead because of the premium charged by Brembo for the use of their name. My 6-pots are branded Range Rover.
