Hi,

I need a new climate control panel in my 2011 D4 as a couple of the air control switches only work intermittently and it’s driving me nuts. The temp knobs have also gone all gummy but have managed to remove them and clean them to an extent.

LR here in Oz are charging $1400 for the panel, used to be $500 but now is apparently an upgraded part whatever that means and has a stupid price.

Any suggestions for a LR parts dealer that you guys here have used and are happy with would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Mike

I’ve used them all. I like RimmerBros - they’re cheap for small items as they will do small Royal Mail post packs with cheap freight. They also do reasonably priced large postage.

I also use Advanced Factors a lot. Good for specialty items and usually reasonable freight. I’ve also used LR Direct before.

I’ve used Island4x4 infrequently. They’ve had two things I’ve wanted over the years.

Really I price match them all including freight and go with that.

PM me your VIN and the part number you're after and I'll make a few calls.

Worth checking which courier your chosen UK suppliers use, I have had success with UPS and DHL, 2 weeks max but more expensive and watch for the surcharges, but Royal Mail / Auspost has been a month or more.

There's a whole thread dedicated to the topic in the sticky zone.

Thanks for the offer Disel, I might have managed to source the part but will get back to you if it falls thru.

Cheers
