Hi Guys,
I got a STEDI led bar - awesome light output btw - and the cables it's running are quite bulky... 30 amps !
so I'm wondering how did you get the wires to the battery ? I thought one option is drilling or cutting the gutter and fitting it through the B Pillar, but I'd rather see if anyone has a better idea.
pictures of your setup most welcome
thanks

Do you have a snorkel? They could run down it, either inside or outside.

on the RHD side, and the light bar cable (STEDI ST2K) is on the left - so unless I extend the harness it will complicate wiring.

Maybe you could run a wire from the battery and put a matching plug on it.

Can you invert the mounts so the loom then comes out the right?

Have you checked the legalities? I believe there is an ADR that headlights and driving lights can't be more than a certain height because they might dazzle oncoming drivers. That means it would be illegal to use a roof rack mounted light bar on a public road. Suggest you check the rules.

From memory in Vic they need to be below the visual height of the bonnet....ie bars mounted on top of a bull bar are illegal...not that many people seem to think legality us an issue

I've seen plenty of roof mounted lights.
I'll have spotlights in the bar for road use so the light bar would mostly be used for off-road use where required.
