Article about this on the local radio a week or so ago. My personal view is that these vehicles are likely to replace the helicopter in many uses, and perhaps extend to others where helicopters are discouraged for noise reasons, but extensive operation in built-up areas such as 'taxis' I think is very unlikely in the foreseeable future. The civil aviation authorities will require a lot of convincing before aviation legislation and regulations are likely to be changed to allow it.
