Can anyone recommend an Apple repairer in Brisbane. I suspect my 2012 MacBook Pro 13” motherboard has a fault.
I probably would have considered an upgrade, but have just bought a 1TB SSD for this unit.
Any recommendations for a Brisbane repairer would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You suspect it might have a fault? its an Apple Mac... a fault is pretty well a given.

Thanks Daz.
It’s been a very good laptop and one of the rare Apple laptops that an owner can open the bonnet and actually work on the motor.
I’ve upgraded the hard drive and RAM myself, with the help of YouTube tutorials.

Not Queensland but recognised as an expert.
iFix Electronics Erina – Phones, Tablets, Computers, Water Damage & Data Recovery Specialists (https://ifixelectronics.com.au/)
He was working on a Mac under a microscope when I recently had an Iphone battery change, and the Mac had been sent down from Queensland when somebody up there buggered it up.

Thankfully this has all ended well.
The problem was the MacBook wouldn’t charge, the cable indicator light was green to indicate it was fully charged, but the computer indicating the battery was flat. This is generally an indicator of a motherboard fault, requiring repair or replacement, or new laptop.
I didn’t consider the charger could be faulty, as charger cable connector light indicated it was working, and charger was only 3 mths old. It turns out the charger was faulty and was replaced by the eBay seller. So an easy no cost outcome.
This saga did prompt me to give the inside a good clean.
