Did anybody else get an email from LRA today - inviting you to book a test drive in August for the new Defender? [emoji1303][emoji3]

I requested August 1st - even though it is unlikely because I am in Vic...

And I want a 90 - not a 110.

I got my invitation , not sure if I'll take it up yet.

I might request a date , I can always cancel it.

Last time I did this at a dealership, they went through an exhausting sales routine and had my keys to look at my car and didn't want to give my keys back to me as they hadn't finished with me.

I had to burst into the managers and threaten to tip his desk over on him to get my keys back.

Do I like salesmen.

I'll wait until I hear how others fare before I make a decision to sit with a car sales person.

LRA head-office marketing gumbo .. local dealers still do not have the cars available. Get your local dealer to call you when the actually have a car for you to drive.

Yes it arrived here as well.

Not really interested,so I sent it over to my brother who is a LR nut.

We have moved on and are looking at other brands.

Small print says you can only book from 3 August on.

so, they rang me again and I booked a drive 7 Sept


since then they have rang me twice and emailed asking me when I would like to test drive the defender.

they are already starting to **** me off.
