Hi,

I have a Shute Upton Brisbane made Ramsey winch "Sue" 8000lbs. Anyone have any info on it? Looking to fit it to a S3. Have the PTO, but no shaft or selector yet.

Although I have a Thomas PTO I don’t see a sheer pin in the drawings for the Shute upton....wonder what/where the fuse is

I’ve just been discussing PTO Winches with SUE.

The owners tells me they first developed them for series landrovers than than they perentie.

I was chasing the correct material for the sheer pin…..

It seems hard copper is what OEM used, I see a lot of references to brass.
