Combine nuclear waste, diamonds, super capacitors and conventional battery technology into the one package, think an AA battery for instance. Result, a Nuclear Diamond Battery which could run for years.

Could have some real world applications i suppose but for EV cars, I'm not so sure of that. Perhaps more hype from the developers than reality at this stage but it is certainly interesting the way they have encapsulated the radio active source - as a diamond.

Sounds like a BS kick starter campaign looking for money to do a runner with is about it. All talk, no physical R&D - all **** and wind I think.

See Thunderfoot and EEVBlog on youtube to understand the reality of it!

Handy if you want to power nanowatt devices.
I think Thunderfoot worked out that to 'power a smartphone' you need a 60m² block of graphite weighing something like 100Kg or something!

Like the above replies said .. nano diamond quantum flux capacitance BS.
