Right, been scratching my head all afternoon on this one.
Finally managed to trace and source all the relays for my driving lights and get a voltage reading. I found that whoever wired them in wasn't such a DH after all, they properly wired it to turn off with the dipped beam, cleverly wired not to operate with the ignition off and used a genuine switch!
I'm getting 12 volts no probs, but even when connected with test leads, the bulbs won't illuminate. They are those flat halogen type (trying to get pics), they appear to be intact, filaments etc, apart from a slight discolouration on the terminals. So whats stopping them from lighting? If I use a continuity tester with the bulb in series, it shows continuity? Do these need a massive discharge or summat to start?
Thanks in Advance
