View Full Version : D3 TDv6 engine cover rubber mounts

Hoping you can get these little rubber grommets that lock into the posts for the engine cover, but not found one yet. Not even a parts listed, just the whole cover, $300+ any ideas? May try and make one out of something but wanted to ask, thanks all for any help.

P/N : PJQ 500012 if I’m not wrong. They’re the same rubber used for air boxes and covers if I’m not wrong. A bit costly for rubber grommets but I guess it is what it is. Pretty sure if you got a sample you’d be able to get similar grommets from an autopart shop as I think Mazda, VW and Mercs uses similar rubbers for their covers.

Also check that the engine cover mounting that retains these grommet/isolaters is not damaged, I got some only to discover they won't say stay where put as the cover is broken..
