well the F35 has been around so long I'm not surprised it's replacement has been designed.

Hopefully this next gen fighter will avoid the concurrency debacle plaguing many platforms (ie. the F-35 program, the Gerald R. Ford class aircraft carriers, Zumwalt class etc).

Can't see that happening. They will probably try to make it all things for all users, so it may do a lot of things just reasonably well.
