How to remove rocker cover on 1990 110 Perentie 4x4

Hi could anyone tell me what the purpose is of 6 bolts in the rocker cover. I would have expected 3 so just wanted to know what the purpose of the other 3 is.

From memory to hold the inner cover to outer cover.
