I am about to fit an MSD6AL ignition to a 3.9 V8, Has anyone done this allready, If so what was the reaction to fuel consumption. Same or Better.?:) :) :)

my gut would be it's only gotta help, but whether you'll actually see any difference at the bowser....:confused:

I will keep the forum posted on fuel consumption and power differance. My guess is it may improve power and torque. the 3.9 runs a rich mixture through the whole rev range so better spark may well kick a little more power in.

You know that you have to buy a tacho driver to give a rev signal to the ECU. There was an install noted on a forum somewhere sometime that found that.

Yes Philip I have the item in the set along with in cab Timing controler and RPM limiter. thanks

Will keep an eye on this one.
Drove my 3.9 up the Blackall Range on the weekend and was underwhelmed with its uphill performance.
