Good result. I suppose that's Darwin & Broome gone again?
From the look on the faces of some of the spectators it'll be Hari Kari all round.:(

apparently the umpire has admitted after the game that he shouldn't have allowed the Japanese goal.
Would have been nice if the Aussies hadn't scored.....

Yep great result. Cahill should have been on the field much earlier on his recent form. As usual nothing really effective from Viduka and Kewell, the so called elite pair really need to fire or be dropped.
Overall the Socceroos outplayed Nippon though. The Egyptian ref needs some glasses, maybe I should send him mine??
Shame I had to work today and could not aprty all night. Long way to go yet. Bring on Brasil and Croatia. Some late nights coming up.

When I heard they'd won 3 -1 I thought - gee that'll inspire some false optimism. But Brazil will fix 'em up:lol:

Yeah, good on them but i am sorry to say it they dont stand much of a chance against Brazil, having said this how well they perform against one of the worlds greatest soccer teams will be interesting. Matt
