Hi all,
Where do people manage to find vent flap screens? The mesh ones?
My shorty has never had any and I can’t find them available anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated

Were they fitted on the Series II/IIa ? I've only seen them on Series III's.

You'll probably only find them from someone who has parted out a vehicle where the bulkhead was beyond saving. I had some from a SIII shorty, the bulkhead was too far gone and a mate had the screens.

Yep just keep an eye out for someone wrecking a Series 3, I searched for a while for a pair for my 2a, realised they really only came on Series 3's with the dash.

They were fitted to all (?) Australian military 2a vehicles, but I have never seen them on any others. Best bet is to find someone who is wrecking one of these, but be aware that the mesh is made from pretty fine steel wire that does rust, although usually has several coats of paint. I have never seen them offered for sale.
