site was unavailable from 21:00 04/10/20 thru to 08:05 05/10/20 due to upgrades gone wrong where the servers are housed.

the system will be going off line tonight 7/10/2020 at 21:00 QLD time for up to 3 or 4 hours


Scheduled for 7 October 2020 at 22:00 AEDT, expected to last 3 hours.


Senior engineers need to perform emergency maintenance tonight at 10PM AEDT to correct a hypervisor fault on the following servers:

We expect this to last 2 -3 hours at most while the emergency work is completed. During this maintenance period, these servers will be unavailable.
We apologise for the late notice however we believe this is important to maintain the high level of uptime and service availability on these servers.

just a reminder that this system employs several types of anti spam measures

one looks at all new posts and if the message contains links or pics that it may consider to be spam it is then moved to the moderation queue for an admin to manually inspect and approve etc.

i look at them at least once a day but most days i look many times as i log in, other admins may also look...

if you make a post (esp if you are new here) and it doesn't show up straight away, it is quite possible it has been moved to the moderation queue to to looked at
