Sensors still active with caravan attached

I had installed a non LR towbar by a reputable 4wd company on my 2013 td4. However, the rear parking sensors are active when I'm reversing the van....very distracting.
How do I turn them off

Get the correct LR wiring loom installed.

Does the caravan have LED lights? If so you need to put a resistor in parallel with the clearance and stop lights.
