Hi :)
Can anyone recommend someone Sydney based who can fix the air Suspension in 2000 P38? I asked one mechanic I know, and he sent me a link to 10 different ebay suppliers for various parts for a complete EAS rebuild, but I feel that to replace all parts is probably not necessary and would take ages for parts to arrive etc.
Car has EAS sensor fault that has been that way for ages, the 4 EAS lights flash upon startup for a bit then they stay on when driving. I just came home after school holidays to find the back left is up super high all the way up, and the right front super low all the way down - I don't think its drivable. The car looks ridiculous lol.
I just wouldn't know where to begin and I'm really not that mechanically inclined or have nanocom tools etc.

Looking for someone in Sydney who knows what they are doing and could fix for me at a reasonable cost, ideally someone mobile who can come inspect the car and see what is needed given its current state is not drivable.

Thank you kindly.

There's one or two Sydney based mobile techs who specialise in Land Rovers but I don't think they'd be inclined to chase EAS issues these days. The P38 can be a time consuming beast to keep on the road at times so I really doubt someone mobile will tackle the repairs.

Past getting some diagnostic gear & tackling the work yourself, your best bet might be getting it towed somewhere. Coopers at St Peters would be your closest LR specialist.

I think I need an EAS rest device first and foremost then I should be able to raise it, then drive to Mechanic when they are free to take me.

There are no EAS reset tools in OZ for sale, takes weeks or a month to get one in. Anyone in OZ have a EAS reset device they would sell or temp rent?

There is free software available if you wanted to go down that route:
RSWsolutions (https://www.rswsolutions.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=53&Itemid=56)

Or there are a few helpful P38 owners in Sydney who will assist but you'll probably have to get the car to one of them unless you find someone who's near the city. I have a Nanocom but I'm probably too far away.

If you are near Penrith, I have the Land Rover T4 (aka Testbook).
