Hi there,
I've just become the proud owner of a 2012 Range Rover Vogue Autobiography. Beautiful car - but I'm facing my first challenge. I'm trying to work out the best approach to getting the trailer electrics set-up as I take ownership of a new caravan next May and have an existing van that I would like to tow in the meantime. The car has a black 7-pin trailer connector - and a white 7-pin trailer connector. I need to get a RedArc trailer braking controller installed - and the existing cabling re-configured to suit a 12-pin flat connector and Grey Anderson plug. I have a quote from ARB Springwood - who Land Rover recommended - but I'm keen to get a second opinion as I'm not 100% certain that they are familiar with the car.
Is there an auto-electrician who specializes in these vehicles in Brisbane? I've attached the wiring diagram from the caravan manufacturer (don't need the ESC Connector).
