View Full Version : BRISBANE - Disco with 20' of poly drain pipe

MacMan

I am up in Brisbane for work and saw the funniest thing on the way north tonight. A Disco 1 TDI carrying (impaled by is a better description) a 20' piece of 6' diameter poly drain pipe, snaking its way through the car. It was inserted through the passenger window, ran between the seats, through the back and then out the back door which was propped open.

And the best bit?

There was an AULRO sticker on it.

I have a pic on my phone...

So OWN UP.

You made my miserable day!

Project 4 hasn't been posted yet..."How to improve your Tdi turbo boost with garden drain pipe".

Maybe it was a covert AULRO road test in progress?

A home made snorkel perhaps

Should get nice cool air... 5 feet behind the back door :p

Even if you don't.... you could use the A/C to cool it as it makes it's way down the pipe

If you hold your tongue the right way you can see it a few cars up. A bit of an anticlimactic photo, but it will live long in my memory!

BTW Vlad, I had no idea where Redcliffe was until I was there. Didn't even know I was going anywhere near it. I had to go visit Cleavers in Margate.

well i am pleased to say it wasn't me - and during daylight my car was in my sight all day.
so find another lucky disco owner to confer this award on

'the aulro ingenuity award for cleverness with poly pipe award'
awarded annually [this will be the inaugraul and first initial award for this topic.]
