OK, silly question, where does one locate a suitable 12v supply for a set of driving lights under the bonnet of a L494? I've found a couple of posts referencing the wire for the high beam sense but looking around, there is no obvious spot to get +12 volts from. I'm assuming that a suitable earth stud needs to be found for the negative as well.
Any help appreciated [biggrin]

The next question I'll ask is how to get a feed for the bull lights on the roof rack[biggrin] Some of us venture beyond the wilds of the Tuggeranong parkway after dark.....

Can you use the jump start posts for the driving light power & then find a high beam wire to trigger the relay?

That's currently one of my contenders, the other is the fuse box buried under the plastic at the front of the windscreen. I found someone on a forum the other night that suggested the Jump start terminals.
