Took a couple of photos of Woronora Dam (Sydney Southern area) its currently at 31% and has about 11 months of water left.
If you look carefully about half way up the LH side of the pic I've put a black line that shows full level (not easy to see though)

and further upstream

Apparently the last time it was at this level was 68 years ago - while it was filling after construction.

Its not good is it. Both Windemere near mudgee and Lake Lyall near here are getting dangerously low, we need quite a bit of rain to fill them. Matt

our local dam (Lake Moogerah,Boonah shire)that supplies irrigation for farmers(they have not had access for the last five years ,yet still have to pay for it!! )and town water for all the townships down stream,is down to approx.8%,the whole eastern seaboard of Aus needs rain of biblical proportions to refill all the dams and underground aquifers, trouble is rain will only spoil a good drought:rolleyes:

Windemere Dam half way between here and Mudgee is or was, not sure if it is fixed yet, because there was a log stuck in the gates that they couldnt free so water was escaping by the bucket load. Matt
