I have been thinking about getting the Disco's injectors and the rest of the fuel system serviced. I have heard about, and read Berrima diesel's website etc, but I would like to know of anyone's personal experience with them good bad or otherwise. Car has about 155 000km

Thanks,

(BTW the only real problem I have with the car is that lately it will not maintain an rpm between 1500- 2000. That is, it won't hold 1800rpm it just shoots to 2000-2200rpm)

G'day John M,

I haven't had the Berrima Treatment however i was so taken back by the marketing and glowing write-ups canvassed in several popular 4WD magazines, that i had to do a forum search on these guys to see if everyone had as much success as the reports would suggest.

The results i found were quite 'interesting' and, as you could expect and will no doubt hear, everyone will have an opinion on this company. I don't have any experience but would encourage you to read the Berrima Experience had by others on the Exploreoz and Overlander forums. Do a search on Berrima and see what comes up.

All the best with your search and i hope you find what you are looking for.

I haven't personally had anything done by them but know of a person who has. He said there was little to no difference made to either performance or economy after the service but the pub down the road served an excellent counter lunch
