Weird Throttle Issue

I’m driving a 2016 Disco Sport

Several times while driving at highway speed and using cruise control I’ve experienced a worrying issue.
As I accelerate gently, the revs go up, the speed drops off and the “D” (for Drive) light flashes..

it does this for a few moments and sorts itself out.

Anyone had the issue?

Your are going to have to get the car scanned to see what the issue might be.

Without a scan you are only guessing.

(Our Freelander 2 has 24 computer modules in it and I would think the Disco Sport has a few more)
