Hi guys, I havent been online for a while due to the new job. There was talk of going to Rover pk on the 24/6, is this still on ?

I cant see it on here anywhere.

Hey Noz and Loaded Disco

The trip to Rover is very much on this weekend as we are all going out there on a track building weekend. Some of us are going out Friday while others are joining us on Saturday.

Taking tools and man power to build a good track as well as get some driving in, so far I know that MickG, Dranged, Steinzy, Dicoute, Josh and myself are heading up but I know there was about 10 people going up, so if your keen we will be there bring some spades, axes or just some man power and let mick know.

Just come straight down to the reception and we will be pretty much in front of that in the valley, you should see us working over to the left but ask Heidi or Hans at recep and they will keep you right.

As for convoying, not sure when anyone from Brisbane is coming down but Steinzy and Glen are coming down Saturday and possible Mark (Noz) and Chris (Rat)

Just wanted to wish everyone a great trip - this one looks like fun and a good time. Unfortnatley we can't make it as will be preparing to leave Cairns on Saturday for a trip to the Cape. So have a good one and an ale on us and catch you all soon.

I was planning on leaving a bit earlier than that though.....leaving at 9 means you won't arrive until about 12. I'd never hear the end of it, if I only turned up for the afternoon driving, and missed out on helping with the hard work in the morning. ;)

Thanks all for an excellent weekend, from felling trees, making obstacle courses to climbing creek beds and for me the most challenging stuff I have done to date, so thanks for the patience :) . Also good to get out on a trip with Dranged and Discoute, who I havent been out with before, so good to see their beasts in action. All in all, great weekend, great company and awesome spot. Cant wait till next time. Will post some pics and if I can work out..... some video footage,

What a terrible weekend!!:mad:
Cold, wet, attacked by possums, scorched by the campfire, trees falling everywhere, rediculous tracks to traverse, bunch of disgusting landrover owners around a campfire:twisted:. Better place and company you will be very hard pressed to find, oh and a bunch of bl@@dy good vehicles as well:o. The hosts were super and all we had was fun fun fun. Not to mention that Stevo's D3 keeps on amazing me bigtime:p. For those who were not there - tuff..... I'm in for the next one.

My ABS sensor/dash lights thing was happening again on Thursday - must've remembered the last trip. Apparently nothing found that could identify the cause either, and codes wiped (at no cost :)), so it's all good............until next time:mad:
