Hi There,

Can any one give me suggestions, info, recommendations and cost on the best clear vinyl wraps to use these days ( protect from paint scratches ). Would probably go for vinyl wrap over spray wraps, as looking for some thing more permanent.

Also recommendations for good installers in Melbourne would be great.

Thanks [bigsmile]

Grafico, are the best in Melb. Based in Nth Melb.
A lot of sign-writers will do it. These days most are trained in Vinyl Wraps.
What area are you in?

Thanks rhinosm.

I'm in the southeastern suburbs. I got the windows tinted by Tint Professor in Moorabbin ( great job ). So I might ask them if they do a clear vinyl wrap as well.

following... let me know how much you're up for and the quality of their work? I've used the paint on paint protection which works well and is easy to use but a little time consuming, really holds the dirt and discolours quickly so can't put it on too long before a trip nor leave it on after!

I asked how much to vinyl wrap my D4 a year or 2 ago and they quoted somewhere in the range of $7k. Can’t remember how much exactly but it was definitely more than $5k. I figured that my insurance excess was less than that so I didn’t proceed

Had mine wrapped in Sydney about 18 months ago...just over $5k, so not cheap.....but far less than a total respray, and far less stressful driving down grown in tracks in the high country...
