Low pressure aircon hose from the compressor and to firewall was leaking

HI all, My aircon on My 2007 puma has gone warm, so headed to the local garage, they told me the Low pressure aircon hose from the compressor and to firewall was leaking, Thy quoted me 1200AUD to replace it. I'm normally service my car so was going to fix it myself. I'm trying to find a part number but or replacement part, but not having any luck. Any ideas or can someone point me to the right place.

For that price i would be seeking a second opinion, get an air con specialist could be something as simple as an o ring.

There are a few onsite hose suppliers. Most will fit the hose for you. Google is your friend. ( PIRTEK being just one). Maybe they could fit a Joiner near the fire wall instead of going back to the guts,


Couldn't they show you where it was supposed to be leaking? That would help you. Maybe it is just the O ring as suggested ^^ by Bazzle.
