Hi everyone;
I just wanted to take the time to publicly thank Andrew Richmond, Paul, and the Team at Les Richmond Automotive in Thomastown, Melbourne for the level of professionalism and customer care which has been shown to me, not only through my LS3/6 Speed Auto transplant into my 2012 110 earlier this year, but in particular the last few days while my vehicle was in for its final engineering certification.
Due to a mix of COVID border restrictions, a lengthy hospitalisation at the REPAT due to unforeseen issues, and the woeful state of the availability of travel on the Spirit of Tasmania ferries for locals right now (not been able to get home for 7 months now), I’ve been in a pretty unenvious social position, and still can’t get back till 14 Jan 21.
Andrew and his team pulled out all stops to get my vehicle sorted at the maddest time of their business year, provided moral support and without going into too much detail, more comfort and respect than I could ever have hoped, for someone who arrived with a car, a dog, a macaw and a unique set of issues.
All I can say is I’ll never forget their professionalism and compassion.
There is nothing in inner suburban Thomastown to suggest remotely that it’s Christmas, but jeez I felt the Christmas spirit at Les Richmond’s. Not meant to be syrupy tacky, it’s the truth.
