Well.....
I'm impressed with the Haval H9. What I thought was just another soft off roader fourby wagon turns out to be a very capable 4 x 4.

Its based on the Prado, and improved IMO (half the price) , so you would expect it to be good.
I'd buy one if I was in the market for that type of vehicle.

I’m surprised (pleasantly) to see its Ancap 4.
Was half expecting it to be tin-foil.

I watched a minute until that music just ****ed me off so much I couldnt bear any more.
Why do people put **** music on a video like that?
the vehicles noises it makes are a kind of music of its own.
I half expected batman or a soldiers march to suddenly fill the screen

Prior to my D4 I had a Great Wall X240 Wagon. It suprised a lot of people. Mind you not stock, diff locks front and rear, Diff ratios changed 33" tyres crawler gear in low range. 2" lift etc etc. Motor and gear box stock. The main thing with the GW (Haval is one of them) is getting parts. Nearly all my mechanical parts came from Russia. They are mad about them over there. Parts were cheap, Think Crown wheel and pinion x2 for $500, 80% front torsen type locker front $400. In my time the car came from the Chinese parts bin. Think Mitsubishi, Toyota, Rodeo, Isuzu. So parts not hard to source locally and cheaper to ask for parts under the OEM maker not GW. Only issue is the motors are detuned as in China cars over a certain power attract high government charges. Only problem was it could barely tow a feather. In FWD it was basically unstoppable, and kept up with all the big boys no problem at all. It had all the bells and whistles and even some items my D4 does not have. All standard on a car that cost me $24K not $90K+. Would I own one now.... not likely. Still cannot tow a feather!!
