Hello all

SVX - 2009 MY. Intermittent wiper has stopped as has instantaneous one wipe. Also washers squirt but doesn't wipe.

My W/S manual and SVX supplements are missing anything to do with the relay and switching.

Had a Search and look in good oil and arrived at:

https://www.aulro.com/afvb/threadloom/threadloom.php?query=location%20of%20wiper%20inter mittant%20relay&tab=347

None of the links to the appropriate relay/s seem to work any more.

Advice would be welcome [smilebigeye]

Cheers

Just google VW 99 wiper relay and you will find something like this

AUDI VW SEAT SKODA GENUINE INTERMITTENT WIPER WASH RELAY 99 357955531 | eBay (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AUDI-VW-SEAT-SKODA-GENUINE-INTERMITTENT-WIPER-WASH-RELAY-99-357955531-/272449506210)

Behind the access panel above the driver's feet. It's the middle of the three relays if memory serves.

Yep that's the one - fuse panel on 2009MY . Centre reddish relay manufactured by Prince of Darkness :0)

Am now searching for method/link I saw to set interval.

Cheers

1 Put the wiper stalk to intermittent position (with ignition on)

2 Put the stalk to off position and wait for required interval

3 Return the stalk to intermittent and it will wipe at the interval set in step 2

You could have bought it locally for about the same price and had it in a couple of days

Wiper Delay Unit RED - KLR Automotive (https://klrautomotive.com.au/wiper-delay-unit-red/)

I can't see it listed on the LandyBitz website nor on Roverlord's (both are members here).

One doesn't appear to be able to search Karcraft's website.

Does the LR one do variable delay? That's the party trick that the VW relay does.
