I couldn't find an existing thread about this when I searched.

The front indicator in the headlight isn't working on one of our MY12 D4's. Pulled the globe out and it seems to be a non-standard type indicator globe.

The genuine Land Rover part number is LR015296.

There's also a PSY24W number on it, but a Google image search shows these to be fairly different shaped at the black plastic base part:

I can't find a match on the Narva catalogue < Narva | Stop/Tail and Indicator (https://www.narva.com.au/categories/lighting/globes_auxiliary/stop_tail_and_indicator) >, Supercheap Auto or Repco website.

The orange globe part pulled out of the base and has the following marked on it:

PHILIPS
HiP
1

AMS MD E13 12613
Valeo MD E2 06074
24W C227DC

Anyone aware of easy to access replacement sources for these or genuine Land Rover only for such a simple item?

Regardless of the different shaped bases, is the connector the same? Globe appears to be the same wattage and shape, and the sealing ring / collar too.

I'd suggest checking on the uk supplier sites (Rimmers / Island / Advanced Factors etc. They'd surely carry aftermarket and genuine options to suit.

Yes, very easy to source from them and the OEM units are around GBP 9.00. But I'm still baffled by the fact something as simple as an indicator globe has been complicated that it's not an easily locally soured item anymore! Thankfully I've got a spare globe kit in each of our Disco's which avoids this being a bigger complication...

The LR015296 globe arrived and it matches that in the second photo of my original post - not the first photo which is the one that I require. On further investigation it would seem that LR015296 is for the HID headlights, LR014111 is the indicator for the other headlights.

Not sure as silly me has managed to loose or throw out the old globe to try. I'll need to order a LR014111 now as I need the base to suit with it.

Yes, that's common for either bulky items like the coolant tank replacements or small cheap items like these indicator globes. I've found Island4x4 often to be the cheapest for the UK to Australia freight.
