Hello Aussies

I was wondering if you could assist a Pom?

I am looking for a set of the type of seats that you get in trucks that absorb the impact of off roading?

I am struggling to find them here in the UK, as we don't have bumps in the road, but I understand that they are quite common in Oz - can you kindly point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

Regards

Adam

Not sure how you'd fit them in a Defender, the seatbox would have to be modified because of the suspension base.
A company I worked for in the UK used to supply KAB seating KAB Seating UK (https://www.kabseating.co.uk/)

Someone else might have an alternative supplier.

Bostrom are another truck seat manufacturer but I've never seen a 4x4 that isn't truck based fitted with one.

Truck Seats, Air Ride Suspension Seats, Heavy Duty Trucks Air Ride Seats (https://www.bostromseating.com/)

Tractor seats such as the one in the link might be made to fit

Bare Co - Platform Mount Seat (https://www.bareco.com.au/files-general-g32)

I know that Santos fit a level rider seat to their Tojo's out around Jackson/ Ballera oil/gas fields.

Don't recall the brand but it has a rotary dial that you dial up your body weight to.
