Roof Box Recommendations and sizes

Hi Guys

I am half way buying a roof box for camping and trips

I read some review saying if the roof box in covering your antenna, it will result a poor experience of GPS/Radio etc. So I am trying to buy the largest possible roof box without covering the antenna. Any idea what length should I go for?

XXL 232cm (Maximum Ski Size 215cm)
XL 215cm (Maximum Ski Size 205cm)

Yakima Sky Box Series

Both 21/18 Range length 233.7cm (Maximum Ski Size 215cm)

Land Rover Roof box didn't have a external dimension on website, but the Maximum Ski length is 205cm, this maybe a guidence.

Sorry, can't help with the model of roofbox but this photo might give you an idea. The awning is 2.5m long.

Going by that, with the front of the awning overhanging the windscreen only by about 4 inches (I can't see it from the driver's seat) I would think the XL should fit but might be a bit further over the windscreen. A tape measure should confirm that.

With my awning it actually doesn't overhang the windscreen, as these pictures show.
