Having owned series of Discoveries through out the years and moving onwards and upwards I am looking into the D5 now.
Couple of observations - I don't know much about Adblue (questions to come) and real life experiences with the diesel D5.
Prices for 2nd hand D5 are still way up there and not at all cheap (for me anyway), shame when the D4's can be had from $20k onwards.
Trying to search for a D5 is harder in carsales etc, not listed as a D5 only options for D3, D4 so need to search for specific years like 2016 onwards to find the D5 but then they throw up heaps of 'discovery sports' models so not the easiest of LR to find 2nd hand
I think the last time I looked the cheapest D5 was around $70k perhaps from memory
Q1. Re Adblue - how much do you store at home (L capacity)
Q2. I understand it gets topped up at service time, but where do you usually source Adblue from
Q3. What price do you usually pay for the Adblue
Q4. How often do you need to top up with Adblue
Finally if I drove return trip from Sydney to Melb or Brisbane 2000kms trip would I need to carry Adblue with me in the D5 (how much) to top up. Would you consider buying the D5 petrol model to not mess about with the Adblue or is it not a big deal breaker. Why is there so many 2nd hand D4 on the market and yet hardly any D5 it would seem.
Ok finally can you buy an ARB or OL bullbar for the D5, I have only seen the ECB (not a fan) of this style of bar? thanks in advance
